In late March, congressional leaders released the 2018 Omnibus Appropriations Bill, which combines 12 different spending bills into one measure affecting the rest of fiscal year 2018. This bill is particularly important HBCUs, which depend on many of the measures included to maintain fiscal health. “This measure shows what can happen when the Congress and president listen to our concerns.
