In an earlier piece, I offered suggestions and techniques on how to best promote and encourage undergraduate research within your programs and across campus. Here I discuss another critical component to undergraduate research: funding. The issue of supporting undergraduate research comes into sharp focus through the following statement issued by the Council on Undergraduate Research.
